Hello my lovelies! You may or may not know that I am attempting to read about set in or by an author from every UN recognised country in the world, along with all 50 US states. That is a seriously impressive goal you’ve set!
You’ll come out of this reading challenge enlightened 🙂
Once I finish the books I have at home, I’m making a list of books I need to read- mainly classics and nonfiction- as I don’t read enough of them, including books from other countries. I may pay a visit to this post at a later date and steal one of your reads haha 🙂
In Cold Blood is a brilliant read btw!

This is such a cool idea! I imagine some countries will be fairly difficult though (like all the little island countries).
I loved The Unbearable Lightness Of Being! I really have to reread it soon.

Absolutely, some will be very tricky. Thankful I am not the first to do this so there are actually recommendations out there for every country! I’d be very stuck otherwise! I haven’t read it just yet but I am very excited to do so.

I am very interested in which books you end up reading for this. Very cool idea, like I said.

Thank you! I will definitely keep posting updates throughout the challenge as to what I plan on reading. I’ve only read two so far but I’m sure I’ll make more headway over the summer when I don’t have university.

Such a great idea, I am not sure if you know but a publisher did a series where they named books that take place in every state, sadly I can’t remember which one. Also, I found a cool literary map of the us here: http://www.bkmag.com/2014/10/15/the-literary-united-states-a-map-of-the-best-book-for-every-state/
You most likely already have your books picked, but I thought it looked cool.

That’s amazing thank you! I don’t have all my US books picked actually so that’s amazing!

Awesome, glad it was helpful. I wish I remembered the publisher though. I used to get the emails each week. >.< If I remember the name I will let you know ASAP.
