Good morning my sweets!
Hope you’re all having a lovely Wednesday so far! Today’s post is yet another exciting one for me. This is the third box I have received from the lovely Wildest Dream Box and it has been just as brilliant as the first two!
The theme for the February box was Truth and Lies and a kinda quickly worked out what the book was and it was pretty lucky really because I was about to go out and purchase it for myself!
The Book – The Truth and Lies of Ella Black by Emily Barr
Ella Black seems to live the life most other seventeen-year-olds would kill for . . . Until one day, telling her nothing, her parents whisk her off to Rio de Janeiro. Determined to find out why, Ella takes her chance and searches through their things. And realises her life has been a lie. Her mother and father aren’t hers at all. Unable to comprehend the truth, Ella runs away, to the one place they’ll never think to look – the favelas. But there she learns a terrible secret – the truth about her real parents and their past. And the truth about a mother, desperate for a daughter taken from her seventeen years ago . . .
The book also came with a signed bookplate and a rather lovely letter from the author. I always find the little touches are the nicest!
As always, the Wildest Dreams Box always comes with some wonderful goodies. This month we were lucky enough to get a candle from Taken Moons. ‘Lies Require Commitment’ is a Divergent inspired candle that smells like black cherry.
Next up we have the tea. As with the last box, it comes in a sweet little test tube. This month the tea is lemon and ginger flavoured which is my go-to when I’m feeling a bit under the weather (which is quite often at the moment, ruddy weather!). It called Veritaserum as is of course is inspired by Harry Potter. Nothing more needs to be said about that, you know I’m always up for anything Harry Potter inspired!
As always the box came with a book mark and this month it was a Harry Potter one advertising the 20th anniversary editions (which I love by the way) and some sweeties! It’s fair to say that the toffee’s included in the box didn’t last very long…
And there we have it! My unboxing on the February Wildest Dreams Box! If you’d like to get your hand on a box for yourself, just head to their website.
Peace and pages
