New Goal: Reducing My TBR

Good morning my sweets!

Hope you’re all having a good Tuesday so far! Today’s post is something that I have thought a lot about recently, and that’s reducing my TBR. I’m sure a lot of you will identify with, the feeling of wanting all the books, buying all the books, and then feeling overwhelmed by the number of unread book we have on our TBR. That is something I plan on tackling from the beginning of July onwards. The lovely Luna has done this since April and she has inspired me to do the same.

The Rules

The only rule in this challenge, if you want to call it that, is to read FIVE books from my TBR pile before I am allowed to purchase ONE book, and thus ensuring that my pile goes from a bonkers number to something far more manageable. What I won’t be counting in this is books that I received from subscription boxes, books from publishers, gifts and giveaway wins, because lets be honest, that’s just unrealistic haha!

Holding myself accountable

To make sure that this actually works towards reducing my TBR, I will be posting fairly frequently with updates. Every five book I read I will be posting a little wrap-up and letting you know what new purchase I treated myself to as a reward or whether I banked it for later.

And there we have it! My plans for reducing my TBR for the foreseeable future! Let me know if this is something you have done or something you’d be interested in doing.

Peace and pages
