Hello my sweets!
Today’s post is one that I have been looking forward to posting for some time. My Wildest Dreams unboxing for June 2018. As I have been absent for a couple of months, this is the first one I have posted since March, but rest assured, I have received every box in-between (including the SundayYA box!).
The Book – Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli
Leah Burke—girl-band drummer, master of deadpan, and Simon Spier’s best friend from the award-winning Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda—takes center stage in this novel of first love and senior-year angst.
When it comes to drumming, Leah Burke is usually on beat—but real life isn’t always so rhythmic. An anomaly in her friend group, she’s the only child of a young, single mom, and her life is decidedly less privileged. She loves to draw but is too self-conscious to show it. And even though her mom knows she’s bisexual, she hasn’t mustered the courage to tell her friends—not even her openly gay BFF, Simon.
So Leah really doesn’t know what to do when her rock-solid friend group starts to fracture in unexpected ways. With prom and college on the horizon, tensions are running high. It’s hard for Leah to strike the right note while the people she loves are fighting—especially when she realizes she might love one of them more than she ever intended.
Okay, I’ll be honest here, the first thing I noticed was the snack. A little pack of Oreos. I love Oreos and so I had to take the picture quickly so that I could eat them! I dunked mine in tea… how do you eat yours?
Next I found that we have another Taken Moons candle! How amazing is that! This one is called Meet Cute and smells like vanilla cappuccino. Now I really dislike coffee, but strangely enough, I LOVE the smell! You can get your own Taken Moons candles here!
As always the box came with a loose leaf tea and some tea bags. This month the tea is called Why Is Straight The Default? and is a blend of black tea, cocoa and vanilla. As always the tea is from Rosie Lea Tea.
And there we have it! My unboxing of the March Wildest Dreams Box! If you’d like to get your hand on a box for yourself, just head to their website.
