October Reading Wrap-Up

Good morning my loves!

I hope you had a brilliant weekend! Today’s post is the first of my new monthly reading wrap-up. The way that I had done this previously was to do a recent reads post, but with the new three posts per week schedule, those posts would take up too much space. SO! Here is the new plan: I’ve obviously rated all of the book that I’ve read and in order to pick which ones to review in full (for books not sent by publishers, which will be reviewed anyway) I shall be posting a thread of polls on Twitter, the winners will get a full review!

Snowglobe by Amy Wilson 5/5 Stars // The Mars Room by Rachel Kushner 3/5 Stars // If Only I Could Tell You by Hannah Beckerman  5/5 Stars // Toil and Trouble by Various Authors, edited by Tess Sharpe 3/5 Stars // Lumberjanes Vol 1 by Noelle Stevenson 3/5 Stars // Blood Orange by Harriet Tyce 5/5 Stars

Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire 4/5 Stars // Heartstopper Vol 1 by Alice Oesman 5/5 Stars // Sea Prayer by Khalid Hosseini 4/5 Stars // The Graces by Laure Eve 4/5 Stars // The Light Between Worlds by Laura Weymouth 5/5 Stars // Scythe by Neal Schusterman 5/5 Stars

Some stats:

Books read: 12
Pages read: 3,549
Average rating: 4.25

Have you read any of these books? I’d love to have a chat about them in the comments. Oh, and don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for the winners and full review posts!

Peace and pages

  1. Blood Orange is meant to be fantastic, I’ll have to look at your twitter poll as I’d love to see your review. I know nothing about The Graces but can imagine myself being seduced by the shiny cover…

  2. Love the idea of doing polls to pick which books get full reviews.
