The Last Hurrah? A Book Haul, Part I

Good morning my loves!

I hope you’ve had a good a week as possible (I know most have returned to work this week following the festivities!) If you follow me on Twitter, you’ll know that I recently bought a house. Strangely enough, I seem to be finding more and more ways of throwing money at it… such as lavish wallpaper (William Morris, Strawberry Thief in Crimson and Slate…. Β£70 a roll…) in the living room and a one of a kind cosy reading nook under the stairs… (see below) So, this book haul will be my last one for some time!

This haul is a culmination of books that I purchased with gift cards, Christmas gifts (from me to me!) and some books that a lovely friend Amy was getting rid of and I gladly took off her hands! It is a bit of a monumental haul, I won’t lie. So grab yourself a cuppa and a snack, and sit back and relax…

A set of three books by Matt Haig

The Dead Fathers Club // The Last Family in England // The Possession of Mr Cave

A set of three books by Daniel Stashower, all from The Harry Houdini Mysteries series

The Floating Lady Murder // The Houdini Specter // The Dime Museum Murders

The Classic Countryside Collection

English Country Houses by Vita Sackville-West // In the Heart of the Country by H. E. Bates // The Happy Countryman by H. E. Bates

And there we have it, part one of my final book haul for a very long time! Did you pick up any books around the festive period? I’d love to know what books you’ve added to your TBR pile. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for part 2 coming Monday!

Peace and pages
