NEWTS Readathon 2019 TBR

Good morning my loves!

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT TODAY’S POST. I have been planning this post for a whole month – ever since the announcement video dropped at the end of June. I have chopped and changed, swapped books out for different ones, and now I have finally settled on my choices for the NEWTS Readathon 2019! Now, I did my OWLS back in April and I actually managed to pass them all, meaning that this year, I could pick whatever career I fancied. This year I have picked the most difficult (typical) career – Alchemist. So, if all goes according to plan, I will be reading 17 book! Wish me luck!

Ancient Runes
A – a book recommended by a friend
The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas
E – a book written in past tense

O – TBR veteran

E – a book with a cover in your house colour
The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley
O – read a book that starts with a prologue
The Song of The Sycamore by Edward Cox

A – a book with LGBTQIA+ representation
Heartstopper vol 2 by Alice Oseman
E – read a book that isn’t the first in a series
The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee
O – read a book over 500 pages

Wonderful TBR Amy! The Five, The Optickal Illusion, Their Brilliant Careers and Mansfield & Me all look really interesting. I am excited that we are all going to be reading Endless Nights together this upcoming month. I have been meaning to read another one of her stories for a while now. Best of luck on your NEWTs!

  3. I’m so late to commenting on this. How’s it going? Are you managing to stick to your TBR? I have changed so much of mine already.
