November/Bath Book Haul 2019

Good morning my loves!

I hope you had a lovely weekend. Today is my November book haul plus the books that I picked up while on a Christmas shopping trip with my Mum to Bath. Some of these I have already read, like The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Lost Children Archive and I just wanted finished copies to add to my shelf. While in Bath I also picked up some first edition signed copies and whilst visiting my favourite bookshop in the world, Bookish, I nabbed myself some festive books ready for my Christmas break. I haven’t added in the synopses for the books but I have linked their Goodreads pages if you want to read a little more about it. And now, on to the books!

In The Cut – Susanna Moore // This is Pleasure – Mary Gaitskill // The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Taylor Jenkins Reid

Better – Atul Gawande // The Truants – Kate Weinberg (first edition, signed) // Lost Children Archive – Valeria Luiselli (first edition, signed)

Murder at Christmas by Various Authors // Fell by Jenn Ashworth // The Twelve Days of Christmas by V&A

The Blue Tent by Richard Gwyn // The 13 Curses by Michelle Harrison // 13 Secrets by Michelle Harrison

The Outsider by Stephen King // Mr Mercedes by Stephen King // Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill

And there we have it! The books that I picked up in November! Have you read any of these books? Which one do you think I should read first? Let me know in the comments below.

Peace and pages

I haven’t read any of these and only know the last three from title. The Lost Children Archive looks very interesting though! Thanks for sharing.

  2. As usual, I’ve not even heard of some of the books on your list. I keep meaning to read Evelyn Hardcastle though

  3. Make sure you read the Mercedes trilogy before The Outsider because there are spoilers! I loved seven husbands and I want to read heart-shaped box so bad. Happy reading!
