Good morning my loves,
Hope you had a great Bank Holiday weekend (if you’re living in the UK)! I can’t believe it’s already September. It felt like March and April was a total of 10 years long and suddenly we’re in September. I saw a post about Christmas the other day, CHRISTMAS! Anyway, enough rabbiting, let’s get on to the post.
This month, after seeing Becca’s announcement video for her month long Bookopoly inspired readathon. Becca has put an immense amount of work into this readathon, creating an entire board with community shelf and chance cards. There’s a link in the video where you can find everything you need to take part.
I’ve actually decided to push this one a little further and potentially carry on with this method of TBR picking for the rest of the year and so I’ve created my own board – inspired by the one Becca has created.
Here is the board I created and now I’ll go through my rolls and what I ended up choosing as my TBR.

So, Becca’s rule book suggests 5 rolls with the knowledge that there will potentially be some doubles in there (meaning you pick a book for that prompt and then add in a extra roll. I managed to get away with just one double this time around and so I’ve got 6 prompts and 6 books on my TBR for this month. If it so happens that I manage to get through all of those books, I’ve marked my place on the board and will take another roll.

Roll One – A book with a foiled cover
Miss Benson’s Beetle by Rachel Joyce
Roll Two – A YA book
A Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
Roll Three – A book with water on the cover
City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert

Roll Four -Friend Pick
The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa
Roll Five – Chance
Those Who Know by Alis Hawkins
Roll Six – Audio or eBook
Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo
And there we have it, the books that I plan on reading in September and so my Bookopolathon TBR! Are you joining in with the readathon too? I’d love to see what you have planned for your reading month!
Peace and pages
Amy

Good luck! I’m joining Bookoplathon as well 😁 picking the TBR was fun but I’m not sure how fun the reading will be. I’ve ended up with a lot to read in September 😬😂

Picking the TBR was so fun! Looking at other people’s posts/videos I realise that the board was very kind to me 😂
